Edwin E. Smith, Jr., M.Ed., PMEC, LSSBB-Education
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Smith delivers over 30 plus years of experience in lending, operations, training, and correspondent banking areas for commercial, mortgage, retail and savings bank institutions. Capacities includes working on product/service design, loan portfolio due diligence, de novo start-up, board and employee development, and strategic planning with these financial institutions.
Additionally, he has over 17 years in the education industry at the secondary and post-secondary levels through teaching, developing and implementing state standards, marketing, and bridging the gap with the real work world through curriculum design in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways and programs of study.
In his community for 37 years, Mr. Smith is been a youth advocate through coach, mentoring, and training using sports (basketball and track) with cultural events to mold and shape the student-athlete to become the leaders of tomorrow.
